Georgian Minister of Justice, Tea Tsulukiani appealed to her French colleague for the extradition of Georgias former Defense Minister David Kezerashvili. According to her, she explained to the French Minister of Justice the Importance of the extradition. "The Chief Prosecutors Office is working on the documentation that will be sent to the French Court. I had the honor to appeal to my colleague, the Minister of Justice of France and explain how important it is for justice and fairness, that Kezerashvili is extradited to Georgia, she said. Tsulukiani is convinced that attempts of external forces for Kezerashvilis release will end in a complete fiasco. She also stressed that the Georgian government worked closely with French colleagues to arrest the former Minister and that it was a perfect example of bilateral cooperation. David Kezerashvili was arrested in France on October 14. Prosecution accuses him in two criminal cases: So-called smuggling of alcohol and alienation of TV Imedi.
