Georgian Finance Minister, IMF mission review economic outlook, ongoing reforms

Economic outlook, budget parameters for the current year and ongoing reforms in Georgia were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili and a visiting mission of the International Monetary Fund.

The meeting discussed medium-term macroeconomic and fiscal parameters and the Government's economic reform programme, the Finance Ministry said.

The officials also emphasised the importance of meetings scheduled within the visit.

Khutsishvili highlighted the “productive” talks and the importance of continued collaboration between the Georgian Government and the Fund for a “robust and sound development”.
