Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Tuesday reviewed the pre-election environment in the country with the International Pre-election Assessment Mission of the United States-based National Democratic Institute.
“Fruitful exchange with NDI International Pre-election Assessment Mission on pre-election environment, electoral legislation, plans and expectations of the Georgian Dream party ahead of 2024 parliamentary elections”, Papuashvili noted on his social media.

In the message, the lawmaker also stressed it was “in the interest” of the ruling Georgian Dream party to ensure a “free, fair and competitive electoral process” ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for October.
