Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili on Friday met with Norio Saito, the Senior Director of the Asian Development Bank’s Water and Urban Development Sector Office, to discuss bilateral cooperation and the progress of ongoing urban and infrastructure projects funded in the country by the ADB.
Khutsishvili expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Bank and highlighted the significance of continued collaboration to foster economic growth and infrastructure improvements in Georgia.
He also remarked on the “positive impact” of the ADB’s initiatives and expressed hope for continued partnership.
The officials also addressed the overall economic situation in Georgia, the Ministry of Finance said.
The meeting, which took place in Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi, also involved Ekaterine Guntsadze, the Deputy Finance Minister, and Leslie Bearman Lahm, the Director of the ADB Resident Mission in Georgia.
