Georgia's Acting National Bank Governor features at int’l Conference on European Economic Integration

Natia Turnava, the Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, on Thursday participated in an annual international Conference on European Economic Integration organised by the Austrian Central Bank, the NBG said.

The Bank noted Turnava would also take part in a panel discussion focusing on the progress and the challenges related to Georgia’s integration into the European Union.

On the sidelines of the Conference, Turnava had a meeting with Boris Vujčić, the Governor of the Croatian National Bank, and is also set to meet Robert Holzmann, the Governor of the Central Bank of Austria, and Peter Kažimír, the Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia. 

The CEEI brings together governors of European central banks and high-ranking representatives of international financial organisations.
