Ilia Topuria, the Georgian and Spanish professional mixed martial artist, on Saturday retained his UFC World Featherweight Champion title in his first title defence, as he knocked out his American rival Max Holloway at the UFC 308 main event in Abu Dhabi.

Topuria, who is also called ‘El Matador’, has become the first Georgian fighter to defend the UFC championship title.

The 27-year-old Georgian, gained the title after defeating his Australian rival and former champion Alexander Volkanovski, while also becoming the first Georgian to claim the UFC World Champion title.
