League of Voters, a Georgian-based civil movement, on Saturday said the organisation had not encountered “any major violations” that could influence the ongoing general elections in the country.
“As of today, at all polling stations where our observers are represented we have peace”, a statement by the League pointed out.
The organisation added its representatives had “only found a minor infraction” in the western region of Guria, where it said a representative of the United National Movement opposition party had followed a voter to the voting booth to “affect the election process”.
The League is observing the parliamentary elections at over 100 polling stations in the country through Georgian and international observers.
