Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday claimed the country would be “leading the states” aspiring to join the European Union in terms of its readiness by 2030, adding It “deserved its rightful place as a leading” candidate for integration.
The head of the Government claimed the country being “formally half a step behind” Ukraine, Moldova and Bosnia through its status in the integration process was a “complete injustice”.
"Everybody knows that Georgia is a clear leader, in all respects, among the candidate countries - be it democracy, human rights, economic growth or any other area. Georgia is the number one country among all candidate states”, he said.
The PM added he was “confident” that “once the ongoing war in Ukraine with Russia ends, Georgia’s "relations" with international partners "will restart” and “justice" toward the country "will be restored”.
