The National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia on Thursday announced it had passed the certification audit of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 and achieved the “highest rating”.

The audit, conducted by Management Systems, the official representative of the authoritative certification body TUVNORD in Georgia, concluded the Centre’s processes and implementation aligned with the standards outlined in its quality management manual.

The Centre’s goals, objectives, and full functionality were found to meet all the required standards, showcasing its dedication to maintaining superior quality management practices”, the body said.

The Centre introduced the ISO 9001:2015 quality management principles in 2021 and has been working on it in collaboration with the joint European Union-Georgia Intellectual Property Project since December 2020.
