Georgia's Prosecutor General, Turkish Ambassador discuss cooperation

Giorgi Gabitashvili, the Prosecutor General of Georgia and Ali Kaan Orbay, the Turkish Ambassador to the country, on Tuesday discussed the “close and effective cooperation” in criminal law between the competent agencies of the two countries at the introductory meeting. 

The sides also expressed readiness to further deepen mutual cooperation, the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office said.

 

The meeting was also attended by Natia Merebashvili, the Deputy Prosecutor General of Georgia, Irakli Chilingarashvili, the head of the Department of International Relations and Legal Assurance of the Prosecutor’s Office, and Boran Can Koçboğan, the head of the Consular Department of the Embassy.
