Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday discussed “productive partnership” between his Government and the United Nations with Didier Trebucq, the newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in the country.
The Government Administration said Kobakhidze highlighted the “significance” of efforts of the Resident Coordinator in supporting the country's “needs and national priorities”, including the effective domestic implementation of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by all UN member states in 2015.
The meeting also reviewed the current security and human rights situation in Russian-occupied territories of Georgia.
