Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday said his Government would “once again express its support” for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin.

In his comments to the media, Kobakhidze said he would express Georgia’s position at the Conference regarding the current developments in the Black Sea region due to Russia's ongoing military aggression in Ukraine.

The PM once again expressed Georgia’s “readiness” to make “maximum contribution” to the restoration of Ukraine.

The Government Administration on Monday said the gathering, scheduled between Tuesday and Wednesday, aimed to garner international support for Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction, reforms and modernisation.

The Conference will focus on mobilising the private sector for recovery and economic growth, social recovery and human capital for Ukraine’s future, restoration of municipalities and regions, and accession to the European Union and related reforms.
