Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday said the ruling Georgian Dream party was “not afraid of the liberal fascist actions” of the domestic “radical” opposition.

In his comments on the hatred campaign carried out by the opposition against members of the ruling team on the backdrop of the adoption of the controversial law on transparency of foreign influence, the PM claimed it was a “feeble attempt to save face” by the opposition.

“No-one is afraid of this liberal fascism, especially members of our team”, Kobakhidze said.

He also claimed the opposition had been “badly defeated” and added the alleged “attempt to save face for their supporters” would “not succeed”.
