Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is hosting Paralympic Judo Grand Prix on weekend

Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi is hosting on the weekend the IBSA Judo Grand Prix Tbilisi 2024, the final licence tournament for the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympics.

Organised by the Georgian Paralympic Committee, with the support of the Sports Ministry and Tbilisi City Hall, over 200 judoka from 48 countries will compete in the tournament held at the Tbilisi Olympic Palace.

Georgia is hosting such a large-scale Paralympic tournament for the first time, with ten Georgian para judokas set to compete in their respective weight categories.
