Georgian Parliament Committee Chair, German State Secretary discuss relations between countries

Maka Botchorishvili, the Chair of the Georgian Parliament's European Integration Committee and Sven Giegold, the State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, on Wednesday discussed relations between the two countries.

The Committee said the meeting reviewed Germany’s support for Georgia’s integration into the European Union and the country’s relations with the bloc.

The conversation also touched on the Georgian Government’s foreign policy priorities and expectations, as well as the importance of strengthening political dialogue and economic relations.

Giegold earlier today also met Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Deputy Economy Minister of Georgia, where the two officials discussed economic cooperation.
