Levan Ioseliani, the Public Defender of Georgia, on Wednesday highlighted the importance of support from international partners and donor organisations in strengthening and further developing his Office at the annual coordination meeting.
The body said Tamar Gvaramadze, the First Deputy Public Defender of the country, presented the institutional development strategy of the Office.
She also noted directions of organisational strengthening, mechanisms for increasing efficiency, formats of relations with international and local organisations and thematic priorities, the body added.
Ioseliani extended his gratitude to international partners and donor organisations for their “many years of support and fruitful cooperation”.
The parties expressed their “full readiness” to continue bilateral cooperation and agreed on “opportunities for more effective communication”.
