Ambassadors of European Union member states in Georgia on Monday shared a joint video address to highlight the significance of membership in the “European family”.
In the video message, the Hungarian Ambassador said being a member of the bloc meant “opportunities for the new generation”.
The German Ambassador highlighted a space of “free, peaceful, socio-economic and environmental” regulations, while the Spanish diplomat noted “jobs and opportunities” for all.
The Danish Ambassador stressed “peace and prosperity” as outcomes of membership, while the Polish diplomat noted his country’s GDP had increased by €450 billion since joining the EU.
“We joined the Eurozone and this gave us financial stability”, the representative of Estonia noted.
“The European Union represents a project of peace, joint growth and common security”, the Italian ambassador pointed out.
The French Ambassador highlighted the ability to protect “security, freedom and values”.
The bloc’s Ambassador Paweł Herczyński invited Georgian citizens to Expo Georgia fairgrounds in Tbilisi to learn more about the EU and its representation in the country during Europe Day celebrations set for Thursday.
