The Georgian National Tourism Administration on Thursday said it had hosted a group of Austrian journalists and influencers as part of a press tour.

Christian Stadler, a journalist from the popular skiing publication downdays.eu, popular skier and influencer Tao Kreibich, as well as photographers, videographers and influencers Clemens Bartl, Gabriel Kosher and Sti Goreng visited Georgia as part of the programme.

They travelled to the country’s north-western highland region of Svaneti, where they explored ski tourism infrastructure, visited the town of Mestia and the village of Ushguli, and skied down from Tetnuldi and Ushba - two most prominent mountains of the region.

The Administration said the influencers would share videos, stories and posts about their experiences on social media, in addition to an article on downdays.eu about their trip.
