Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Ashot Smbatyan, the Armenian Ambassador to Georgia, on Monday discussed the existing good neighbourly relations and prospects of future cooperation.
The sides emphasised the significance of the joint document on strategic partnership signed between the countries in January, the Government Administration said.
The conversation also touched on the potential of strengthening ties between the two states in the fields of economy, trade, transport and energy, as well as tourism, culture and education.
At the meeting, the officials highlighted the importance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus region.
