The Georgian State Security Service on Friday said it had prevented a cyberattack on the official website of the Administration of the country’s President.
The Service said the Cybersecurity Centre of the Operational and Technical Agency had “promptly” detected the attack and issued “emergency response measures” leading to prevention of the attack and allowing the website to continue operation.
The body added additional investigation was ongoing to inspect other vulnerabilities of the website, identify the offenders and take further legal action.
