Botchorishvili highlighted reforms carried out by the Government and the action plan for subsequent steps, with the officials also addressing the European Parliament elections and this year’s parliamentary elections in Georgia.

The meeting emphasised the importance of relations between Georgia and the US and the latter's support for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration.

On his part, Nordberg congratulated Botchorishvili on the candidate status and expressed his readiness to assist in the process of further reforms.
