Tamar Beruchashvili, the Georgian Ambassador to Romania, on Tuesday said the security of the Black Sea region was “inherently” tied to the security of the country “and vice versa”.

The NATO-EU Resilience, Military Capability Enhancement and Cooperation for Development of Black Sea Security Strategy conference involves discussions on “addressing national security and defence matters in the context of the latest developments” in the region and wider world.
Pia Kauma, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, on Wednesday expressed her support for the democratic and economic development of Georgia by saying the country played an “important role in regional stability”.
General Christopher Cavoli, the commander of the United States European Command, on Thursday highlighted “fantastic progress” made by the Georgian defence forces over the years.
Georgia’s strategic partnership with the United States and the cooperation between the two countries were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between prime minister Irakli Garibashvili and general Christopher Cavoli, the commander of the United States European Command.
Philip Reeker, the senior adviser of the United States department of state for Caucasus negotiations, on Thursday said Georgia's role was “critically important” for regional peace, stability and interconnectivity.
Priorities of the bilateral agenda between Georgia and Romania were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between Tamar Beruchashvili, the Georgian Ambassador to the country, and Adrian Foghiș, the State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
