Maka Botchorishvili, the Chair of the Georgian Parliament's European Union Integration Committee, on Saturday said Georgia’s partners “appreciated” the progress achieved by the country over the years.

Botchorishvili highlighted the support of Georgia’s strategic partners - the United States and the European Union, while commenting on the EU-US Summit Joint Statement, published on Friday, which reaffirmed the “full commitment to supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and its European perspective”.

Both important issues are reflected in the joint statement, [...] Georgia's aspirations and wishes can not be realised if we have no proper support from our partners, and this declaration shows that”, the Committee Chair stressed.
