Georgian Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili on Friday highlighted the partnership and friendship with Kazakhstan, based on the principles of “equality, mutual respect and cooperation”, in his speech at the event dedicated to the Kazakhstan Republic Day.

Davitashvili “heartily” congratulated the Kazakh Government and people on “this important” holiday, wishing them peace, prosperity and success, the Economy Ministry said.

He emphasised the political and economic partnership between the two states “has not weakened in recent years” despite the pandemic and noted cooperation in various fields “has become even more active”, emphasising “a particularly successful dynamic” with Kazakhstan in trade and highlighting the country as “one of the most important” trade partners and investors for Georgia.
