Levan Ioseliani, the Public Defender of Georgia and Tamar Gvaramadze, the Deputy Public Defender, on Thursday featured in a meeting organised by the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions to enhance promotion and protection of human rights.
The Public Defender’s office said the occasion included introduction of new leaders of the NHRI and of “core values and efficient operation” of the body.
The meeting also saw members of the Network share their experience with new representatives and review standards and activities of the body.
