The Georgian Defence Forces held a situational field exercise Mstovari 2023 to select participants for the annual international military Exercise Cambrian Patrol, which is set to be hosted in Wales in October, the Defence Ministry said on Saturday.

Mstovari 2023, the one-week training of the units from different commands of the Forces, was held at the Mukhrovani base and aimed to check the level of their training, increase combat readiness, develop standard procedures and conduct practice tests of new intelligence tools.

Within the framework of the Mstovari 2023, the intelligence units went through theoretical and practical exercises, medical and engineering training, evaluation of tactical skills, and self-defence.
