Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is set to host the 37th board meeting of Green Climate Fund, the world's largest fund assisting developing countries to respond to climate change, at the end of October, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia announced on Saturday.
The decision was unanimously made at the 36th meeting of the governing body of the GCF in Korea, which was held between Monday and Thursday.
Nino Tandilashvili, the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, attended the board meeting, which approved the 2024-2027 strategic plan, and chaired the meetings of the Accreditation Committee of the GCF.
