Georgian judoka Tato Grigalashvili claimed his second World Judo Champion’s title in a row after winning the -81 kg category final at the World Championships in Doha on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old defeated Belgium’s Matthias Casse in the final to earn the title, following his victory in the semifinals over South Korea’s Joonhwan Lee.

Lasha Bekauri and Luka Maisuradze, two other athletes in the Georgian team, will compete for medals in the 90 kg category later today.

The World Championships are running between May 7-14.
