Tourism Administration launches training for industry professionals to improve inclusive services

The Georgian National Tourism Administration is launching a training course for people involved in the tourism industry in a bid to improve products, services and facilities for individuals with special needs while they travel the country.

The GNTA announced on Friday the course would cover the capital city of Tbilisi and cities of Rustavi, Gori, Kaspi, Tetritskharo, Telavi, Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Batumi, Zugdidi, Ambrolauri, Stepantsminda and Mestia. 

The course will involve strategies for implementation of inclusive tourism, introduction of products and accessible services, compliance with requirements of international and national standards, and routes and services. 

Food and accommodation industry professionals, tour operators, employees of agencies of protected areas of the country and guides have been invited to the training free of charge.
