Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Thursday discussed investment potential in his country’s energy sector, including in renewable energy, with Benjamin Church, the Chief Executive Officer of the United States-based APR Energy company.
The meeting at the Government Administration in Tbilisi also highlighted Georgia’s “favourable business environment” and high positioning in related international rankings, the Government press office said.
The PM also described the country as a “reliable business partner” for foreign investors.
APR Energy has provided specialised energy solutions and management of short and long-term projects in over 35 countries since 2004.
