Post stamp dedicated to 18th century Georgian king released

A post stamp dedicated to King Erekle II, one of the last Georgian monarchs who ruled the Kartli and Kakheti kingdoms between 1762 and 1798 was unveiled at the Telavi Museum of History in Georgia’s east this week.

Telavi Municipality authorities said the stamp had been unveiled at an event hosting officials and involving remarks on the life and reign of the King.
