Georgian choreographer, stunt double wins Taurus World Stunt Awards in best fight scene category

Georgian choreographer, dancer and stunt double, Lasha Mdzinarashvili on Saturday won the Taurus World Stunt Awards in the best fight scene category, the Georgian culture ministry said. 

Mdzinarashvili had staged the main battle scene, in the elements of Georgian dance, in director Matthew Vaughn's film The King's Man. His choreography was highly appreciated by the jury, professionals of the world film industry and the audience at the “one of the outstanding” ceremonies of the stunt industry.

The dancer of the Rustavi State Academic Ensemble of Georgian Folk Song and Dance became the first Georgian choreographer and dancer who has received this award.
