Georgia received $306 million from abroad in July 2022, which is 46.8 percent more than the amount in July 2021, says the National Bank of Georgia.

Overall, the vast majority (97.2 percent) of all money transfers from abroad came from 24 countries.
Last month, remittances leaving Georgia totalled $27.7 million, as compared to $26.7 million in July 2021.
The Consumer Price Index in Georgia increased by 0.2 percent in July month-on-month, while the annual inflation rate totalled 11.5 percent, the National Statistics Office of Georgia announced on Wednesday.
The National Bank of Georgia has decided to keep the refinancing rate unchanged at 11 percent following a meeting of its Monetary Policy Committee on Wednesday.
