Streets in Tbilisi to be named after national heroes of Georgia, those killed in 2008 war with Russia

Streets in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi will be named after national heroes of the country and those killed in the 2008 war between Russia and Georgia, Tbilisi City Council Head Giorgi Tkemaladze announced on Monday.

The list of the national heroes - including journalists and photo reporters - that will be given to the streets includes Aleksandre Oniani, Giorgi Antsukhelidze, Levan Devdariani, Ilia Babutsidze, Giorgi Jojua, Levan Chochua, Koba Sergia, Giorgi Berikashvili, Giorgi Ghviniashvili, Anzor Geldiashvili, Natalia Samkanashvili, Giga Chikhladze, Alexander Klimchuk and Stan Storymans.
