Tbilisi hosting Georgian International Business Forum

Business community, service providers, investors and entrepreneurs from different countries attended the Georgian International Business Forum in capital Tbilisi as the event wrapped up earlier on Friday, the Ministry of Economy announced on Friday.

Organised by the Georgian-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Global Council For Business and Trade, the event hosted its participants as a platform for facilitating networking between companies and individuals over a series of meetings.

Businesspeople from Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Nigeria, USA, Cyprus, Georgia, Latvia, India and other countries met in the context of B2B meetings setting to discuss their potential collaboration on all business and investment levels", the Chamber said.

Georgian Deputy Economy Minister Nino Enukidze also featured in the Forum and highlighted the "liberal tax regime and favourable environment for business" in the country in her welcoming speech. 

Enukidze also said she hoped the Forum would facilitate ties between Georgian and Lebanese business circles.
