Georgia’s external trade turnover amounted to $2.77 billion in January-March 2021, which is 0.3% lower compared to the same period of the last year, show preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

The value of exports increased 5.3% and totalled $821.1 million, while imports decreased 2.4%, amounting to $1.95 billion.

The trade deficit of Georgia in January-March 2021 amounted to $1.13 million which is 40.8% of total trade turnover.
