Transparency International Georgia, which filed 42 complaints and seven lawsuits on and after the October 2 municipal elections, reports that neither district election commissions nor courts have upheld any significant complaints.
The organisation, which monitored the elections with the help of 300 observers, notes that the district election commissions and courts upheld just four complaints and one lawsuit seeking disciplinary actions against some of the election administration representatives.
TI Georgia has tweeted:
TI Georgia filed 42 complaints to the election commissions, 12 of which were related to the imbalances in summary protocols. In these precincts, the organization asked for the invalidation of the protocols and the recount of the results. #GVote21https://t.co/TP60NRNNHF

On the other hand, complaints requesting a recount of the ballots due to the imbalance of the summary protocols have not been upheld. The district election commissions recounted only seven polling stations out of the requested 12.
As a result of the recount, the total number of votes changed as follows:
Furthermore, TI Georgia adds that the district election commission in Marneuli, the district court and the court of appeals did not uphold their request to annul the results of the two polling stations in Marneuli, where ‘serious violations, including multiple voting by some persons’ have been detected.
The district election commission in Zugdidi recounted ‘only invalid ballots in four precincts of the 11th majoritarian constituency, which resulted in a change of the winning candidate,’ - states the organization.
However, neither Zugdidi District Court, nor the the Court of Appeals sustained Tl Georgia's lawsuit against the Zugdidi’s district election commission.
