EU integration has been underscored among the joint goals of Georgia and Montenegro. PM Garibashvili has welcomed the readiness of Montenegro to share its experience with Georgia ahead of applying for the EU membership in 2024.
Speaking about the grave humanitarian and security situation in the Russian-occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia), PM Garibashvili thanked Djukanovic for supporting Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
President Milo Djukanovic is paying an official visit to Georgia for the first time since diplomatic relations between Georgia and Montenegro were established in 2007.
