Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has stated that in a pessimistic scenario the Georgian economy is expected to grow 7% while in an optimistic scenario it will grow more than 10% this year.

The positive signals that come out of business give us a very optimistic reason that the recovery of the economy is already happening very fast. The lari is strengthened, and our experts expect the national currency to gain value further. The economy has already started to recover and the 45% growth of the economy in April was unprecedented, and also in May we expect very high growth results", Gharibashvili said.
