The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $8.3 million loan for construction of Olympic swimming pool in Georgia’s western city of Kutaisi.
There will be special spaces (dressing rooms, shower rooms) for visitors, as well as for referees and coaches in the swimming pool complex .
The construction of the Olympic swimming pool will promote a healthy lifestyle among young people and is important for the development of traditions in the field of water sports in Kutaisi, " reads the statement of the Municipal Development Fund.
The Olympic swimming pool will be 50 metre long and 25 metre wide.
Construction of the pool will be completed in 2022
