A total of 1,731 new cases of coronavirus have been reported over the last 24 hours in Georgia after conducting 9,812 tests.
Meanwhile, 4,599 individuals have recovered, outnumbering the new cases, while 39 have died. Out of the 1,731 new cases 774 were reported in Tbilisi.

There are 26,077 active cases of infection now. 44,773 individuals are self-isolating, including 19,775 in Tbilisi, 5,993 in Adjara and 6,330 in Imereti.
A total of 208,638 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Georgia since the first outbreak of COVID-19 in late-February, including 180,441 recoveries and 2,094 fatalities.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for Europe Hans Kluge who is paying a visit to Georgia has hailed the Emergency and Operative Response Centre 112 .
Kluge's visit to Georgia has three main goals, the most important of which is to work with the Health Minister, the government and other healthcare professionals on Covid-19 issues.
