Museums, natural reserves of Georgia closed amid coronavirus pandemic

The National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia has temporarily closed museums and natural reserves to visitors due to the pandemic in the country.

The agency calls on tourist companies to postpone planned tours.

Museums and natural reserves will resume hosting visitors in compliance with the coronavirus-related regulations after the epidemiological situation in the country improves”, says the agency.

Georgia has had 169,649 cases of coronavirus since February.

141,392 of the 169,649 individuals have recovered, while 1,576 others have died.
