Exports of persimmons have increased by 38 per cent between August 1 - December 6 compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 10,332 tonnes, says the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture.
The earnings from exports amounted to $5.5 million which is a 41 per cent increase compared to 2019.
Other countries to where Georgian persimmons have been exported include Belarus, Qatar, Moldova, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Hungary.
