EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell has expressed his hope that the voting process today in the parliamentary elections will be free from violations and intimidation, noting that this is the responsibility of all parties.

I hope that many people will vote without any risk related to the coronavirus situation and everything will end safely,” he said.

2020 election day is a big day…It is a special moment for all democracies when the electorate votes for whom will run the country for the next four years,” said Hartzell.

A European diplomatic watch has assembled no less than 70 teams and is visiting some 1000 polling stations on election day today throughout the country.

Their efforts are aimed to support the OSCE/ODIHR mission.
