Georgia is moving into the next phase of systematic land registration which will cover the Tetritskharo, Gardabani, Kareli, Gori and Sagarejo municipalities of the country, announces the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

This is a very important issue, because 111,000 hectares of land will now be regulated, for which there is already funding", said Gakharia.

Gakharia said that land registration will support economic activities in the field of agriculture.

He said that citizens will not have to pay for land registration, and that the Ministry of Justice will 'fully resolve this issue'.

It will be complete cadastral data, free of charge for our citizens", Gakharia said.

He added that the government has a 3-year plan with its budget in order to complete the systemic land registration in Georgia.
