About 202 mln GEL will be spent on 67 projects to improve water systems in Georgia

About 202 million GEL ($66.12m/€58.37) will be spent on 67 water and sewerage infrastructure projects throughout Georgia in 2020 that will benefit about 779,625 people, announces the United Water Supply Company of Georgia.

Currently, the United Water Supply Company of Georgia is currently implementing 34 large-scale infrastructure projects, and 33 new projects are planned to be launched this year”, reads the press release published by the company.

The United Water Supply Company of Georgia is carrying out works in Zugdidi, Chiatura, Marneuli, Poti, Abasha, Ozurgeti, Abastumani and Telavi with the financial support of international donor organisations including ADB, KfW, EIB and the state.
