Georgian Ambassador to the US David Bakradze has sent a Georgian cook to an American terminal cancer patient in Ohio, who is a fan of Georgian cuisine, and wished to once again taste a Georgian meal.

Facebook user Philip Kowalski posted on Facebook group Spend 4 Seasons in Georgia at the end of May that his friend Mathew has only between two weeks to two months left to live.

He is a Georgian cuisine enthusiast, and I am trying to procure a Georgian feast for him as soon as possible. The problem is that he lives in Dayton, Ohio, USA, and there are no Georgian restaurants in the area," he wrote.

Later he posted photos and said that the Georgian Ambassador to the US David Bakradze decided to fulfil Mathew’s wish.

Kowalski wrote that the cook and the people who accompanied him spent seven hours travelling to Mathew’s accommodation to fulfil his wish.
