US Acting Assistant Secretary of State of European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker congratulated Georgia on its Independence Day and said that ‘the United States will always support Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.’
Our strategic partnership based on the shared values of freedom and independence has never been stronger,” said Reeker.
He spoke about the global pandemic and said that the US government has committed million in new emergency health assistance to support Georgia’s efforts and help the country during the crisis.
He expressed willingness to strengthen relations between the US and Georgia, support Georgia's ongoing democratic reforms and to further enhance economic ties between the countries.
