Gov’t, think tanks to work on economic plan against coronavirus crisis

The measures implemented by the Georgian government to minimise the economic consequences of the COVID-19 crisis were emphasised during the video conference, including:

  • subsidising utility bills for citizens
  • deferring property and income tax payments for business

During the conference, participants discussed the country’s post-crisis economic policy as well to quickly regain its global competitiveness.
