Notary services which have been temporarily suspended due to the coronavirus, have become available in Tbilisi at three locations and in the towns of Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Batumi, Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani stated today.
The national archive will also provide remote services starting tomorrow, while the civic and public registry agencies will resume their electronic services starting Wednesday.
Notary service in Tbilisi will be available at Uznadze #2, in the building of the national archive and in the Justice House.
Tsulukiani said that if notary bureaus adhere to all recommendations of the Georgian Health Ministry, they will be able to resume work.
The number of cases of coronavirus has reached 188 in Georgia as of the morning of April 6.
36 of the 188 have recovered, while two elderly women, with several underlying health issues have died.
148 people inside the country remain infected with the virus (two of the 188 were foreign citizens who left Georgia last month).
